Management Committee. Technical and administrative support has been
generously provided by the government of the Macau Special
Administrative Region. Macau Art Net provides its services strictly in
accordance with the Terms of Service described herein. When you use
Macau Art Net, you are indicating that you have read, acknowledged and
agreed to all of the following Terms of Service and properly completed
the registration procedures, before you can become a formal subscriber.
2) Macau
Art Net reserves the right to change these Terms of Service when
necessary. We will notify you about significant changes by posting the
contents of such changes prominently on our site. If you do not accept
the changes made, you may contact us to cancel your subscription. Your
continued use of our services indicates your acceptance of the changes
made to the Terms of Service. Macau Art Net reserves the right to change
or cancel its services without prior notice. Macau Art Net will not be
held responsible to its subscribers or any third party when it exercises
this right.
3) If
you are under the age of 18, aside from agreeing to the above-mentioned
conditions, you and your parent (or guardian) must also read,
understand, and agree to all the policies governing our Terms of Service
and subsequent changes or updates to it before using or continuing to
use Macau Art Net. If you use or continue to use Macau Art Net, you are
indicating that you and your parent or guardian have read, understood

1) We
provide services to all art-lovers regardless of nationality, sex or
age. Our aim is to provide a forum for exchange, and to promote the
development of culture and the arts in Macau. For this reason, you
acknowledge that Macau Art Net is a service dedicated to providing an
on-line network for information and exchange, and agree to take full
responsibility for the ideas or opinions you express and any legal
consequences that may result therefrom.
2) Macau
Art Net subscribers and Internet users are permitted to transmit, post,
or otherwise express their own opinions in or on all the free webpages, association forums, community forums,
individual electronic message systems, chat
rooms, message boards, newsgroups and other on-line venues provided by
Macau Art Net. The views expressed do not represent the opinions of
Macau Art Net, and are the sole responsibility of the individual who
transmitted, posted, or expressed them. Macau Art Net will not be held
liable for the opinions expressed by its subscribers or other network
users.
3) Macau
Art Net publishes information about a variety of services. The content
of this information is the sole responsibility of the service provider;
Macau Art Net merely provides the medium for publishing this
information. Any disputes arising from information obtained via Macau
Art Net are between yourself and the individual or group who is
providing the service, and are not the responsibility of Macau Art Net.
4) Any
electronic mail or other data that subscribers receive through Macau Art
Net is considered personal communication between the subscriber and the
sender. If the transmission or content of such electronic messages is in
any way unlawful or infringes upon the rights of the subscriber or other
persons, the subscriber agrees to hold the sender of this message solely
responsible, and to exercise his or her legal rights against the
sender.
3. Your
Registration Obligations:
1) To
use the services provided by Macau Art Net, you must agree to:
a)
provide true, complete, accurate and current information about
yourself when registering;
b) maintain and update
your personal information when necessary, and guarantee that this
information is complete, accurate and current. If you provide
information about yourself that is not accurate, Macau Art Net
reserves the right to suspend or terminate your subscription rights
and privileges.
2)
Macau Art Net uses a subscription system for registration and login
procedures. If you have successfully completed the registration
procedures, this indicates that your registration has been confirmed and
that you have been assigned an account. All information that you provide
during the registration procedures will be stored in Macau Art NetY

4. Macau
Art Net Privacy Policy
Personal
information that you provide to Macau Art Net for registration or
certain other purposes is subject to this siteY Privacy Policy.
5.
Subscribers Accounts, Passwords, and Security
After
completing the registration procedures, you will receive an account
designation and password. You are responsible for maintaining the
confidentiality of your account and password, and are fully responsible
for all activities that occur under your password or account. To protect
your own rights and interests, do not allow your username or password to
be known to anyone else, and do not allow anyone else to use your
account. If you discover any unauthorized use of your password or
account, or any other breach of security, you should immediately notify
www.macauart.net and request
that your account information be changed to protect your interests.
Macau Art Net will not be held liable for any loss or damage that may
result from your failure to comply with this Section 5.
6.
Subscribers' Legal Responsibilities
You
agree not to use Macau Art Net for any unlawful purposes or in any
illegal manner, and to abide by the laws of the Macau Special
Administrative Region as they pertain to this usage. You also promise
and guarantee not to use the services on this site to engage in
activities that would breach the law or infringe upon the rights and
interests of others, including but not restricted to the following:
a)
Posting or transmitting, by way of words, images, or other media, any
content that is defamatory, derogatory, threatening, abusive,
objectionable, obscene, false, disruptive of public order or local
customs, or that is in any way unlawful;
b)
Violating, infringing upon, or otherwise injuring the reputation,
privacy, trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, patents, intellectual
property rights or other rights of third parties;
c)
Violating any nondisclosure agreements that are protected under the law
or by contract;
d)
Impersonating another person or entity;
e)
Transmitting or spreading software viruses;
f)
Engaging in any illegal business transactions or posting information
that is deliberately false, misleading or inflammatory;
g)
Engaging in any other activity that Macau Art Net deems inappropriate.

Subscriber Conduct
1) All
information, data, text, software, music, audio, photographs, images,
graphics, video, messages or other items (hereafter referred to as
&ontent that is publicly posted or privately transmitted by Macau Art
Net subscribers is the sole responsibility of the person from which such
content originates. Macau Art Net cannot control the content that is
posted on its site, and therefore does not guarantee the accuracy,
completeness or quality of this content. You understand and accept that,
when using these services, you may encounter content that you find
offensive, indecent, or objectionable. Macau Art Net will not, under any
circumstances, be held responsible for content, including but not
limited to any errors or omissions therein, or for any loss or damage
resulting from the use of content posted, emailed or transmitted via
this website.
2) You
acknowledge that Macau Art Net does not examine content before it is

Art Net may terminate his or her right to use his/her username or may
close his or her account, and terminate his or her use of all Macau Art
Net services. Subscribers who violate a law or regulation assume full
responsibility for the consequences of their actions. Macau Art Net
may, at any time and with or without notification, cancel a subscription
or revoke or limit an individualY qualifications for subscription. In
such cases, subscribers may not demand compensation.

Compensation for Damages
If, as a
result of a subscriberY violation of the law or failure to abide by any
condition stipulated in the Terms of Service, Macau Art Net or any other
party sustains damage or incurs costs (including but not limited to, any
legal costs incurred in the process of implementing civil, criminal, or
administrative procedures), the subscriber in question shall be
responsible for compensation or reparations.

Validity of Individual Conditions
If any
one of these conditions shall be deemed invalid in part or in whole, it
shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions.
19.
Applicable Law
The
interpretation and applicability of these Terms of Service, and any
rights and obligations pertaining to the relationship between a
subscriber and Macau Art Net resulting from use of the services provided
on this site, will be governed by the laws of the Macau Special
Administrative Region. Any disputes that may arise shall be settled by
the courts of the Macau Special Administrative Region. Macau Art Net
