A new exhibition of paintings and calligraphy by Professor Jao is currently in preparation, allowing the public to appreciate the sinologist’s masterpieces and appreciate the long history of Chinese culture.
Professor Jao had made prominent achievements and outstanding contributions in fields of literature, art and academics. He has devoted immense support to Macao’s cultural and generously donated paintings and calligraphy to the cultural departments of Macao. The exhibitions were well received by the public.
In order to demonstrate Professor Jao’s concurrent pursuit in academics and art, and to provide more opportunities for the public to participate in Chinese cultural activities, the exhibition room on the first floor of the Academy will be dedicated exclusively to present Professor Jao’s paintings and calligraphy, and will not be available for rent.
